Mick Foley says he has been pitching Vince McMahon about signing UFC champion

Mick Foley has thrown out the idea of WWE signing this UFC star.

The WWE Hall of Famer has done it all in the world of professional wrestling and has faced off with some of the biggest names in the business such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, Ric Flair, The Undertaker.

Foley was introduced as the new General Manager of Monday Night RAW after the WWE's Brand Split in July of 2016. Foley and Stephanie McMahon aligned themselves together to draft various Superstars in order to run Monday Nights to the best of their ability.

After several months, however, Foley was then written off of WWE TV in order to undergo a major hip surgery that he needed.

As a result of this, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon thought that it would be a great idea to bring back former WWE Champion Kurt Angle to serve as his replacement.

This was the last time that the fans of the sports entertainment company saw Foley on the flagship show of the WWE, Monday Night Raw.

Foley is best known for his famous Hell in a Cell match with The Undertaker at the King of the Ring pay-per-view event in 1998 at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This match saw Foley take his epic jump off the top of the cell as well as him being chokeslammed through the cell to the mat of the ring. At the time, the cell was 20 feet tall.

The WWE Hall of Famer told TMZ Sports that he's been lobbying WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to sign UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cris Cyborg to a contract and to keep an eye on her potential fight with Amanda Nunes. Here is what he had to say:

"I had a meeting with Mr. McMahon and I specifically told him keep your eyes on this Cyborg vs. Nunes fight," Mick said.

"She's gonna be larger than life and would make a great WWE superstar down the line."

If WWE did go through with this then they could always book Cyborg against former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey.

Cyborg (20-1, 1 NC) is widely regarded as the best female fighter in the world with her only loss of her pro-MMA career thus far came back in 2005 when she made her professional debut and is coming off a big win over Yana Kunitskaya to retain her UFC women's featherweight strap in March via the first-round TKO.
