Becky Lynch reveals the career-changing advice Shawn Michaels gave her before heel turn

With WWE Evolution this Sunday, it's fair to say many of the WWE Universe are underwhelmed with the card that the company has put together.

In particular, the six-woman tag match between Sasha Banks, Bayley, Natalya and The Riott Squad. That's the kind of match you'd see on any Monday Night Raw.

However, no one can deny that the Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair feud over the SmackDown Live Women's title is on absolute fire and they have a Last Woman Standing match at the inaugural all-womens pay-per-view.

After Charlotte used her one too many times, Lynch snapped at SummerSlam when Flair captured the SD Live Women's title when the Irish Lass Kicker had it won in their triple-threat match with then-champion Carmella.

Since then, the two former best friends have been tearing each other apart and it seems as though their battle at Evolution will be to settle the feud.

Speaking to TV Insider, Lynch revealed that during 'The Marine 6: Close Quarters,' WWE Hall of Famer and fellow cast member Shawn Michaels had some piercing advice for her.

“Things weren’t going as well as they are now before I left to shoot. I remember him giving me advice saying, ‘When you go back, go in as a different person. Hold your head a little bit higher. Have that attitude that you’re a top star. Go with it. I think this is what I’ve been trying to do since I came back.”

There's no denying Lynch is one of, if not the hottest star in the company right now and the change in character has seen her reach new heights.

Given her vast quality, it seems Lynch has always had supporters and she also revealed a slew of WWE legends who have lent her a helping hand down the years.

“Steve has been very supportive and generous with his time. He talks to me and gives me matches to watch. That has been wonderful.

“Then I was with Mick Foley recently and talking to him. He is one of the reasons I’m here today. He was someone who helped bring me back into wrestling. I’ve been very lucky for the support I’ve gotten from people who have been here before and done wonderful things in the business.”

Lynch's evolution - no pun intended - has been wonderful to see after it appeared she was the most likable babyface possible, she's capable of far more than most fans thought. Here's to hoping we see these ladies main event Evolution on Sunday.
