The Undertaker has confirmed some major WWE plans for 2019 [Ringside News]

If WWE fans think they've uncharacteristically seen a lot more of The Undertaker in recent months - they'd be correct.

For one reason or another, Taker has made quite a few appearances on WWE television since his match at Super Show-Down with Triple H was revealed, and it's all led to the announcement of a blockbuster tag match in a month's time.

And the Deadman will return to his former stomping ground this week - SmackDown Live - for their 1,000th episode, and probably also to further his storyline with D-Generation X.

He is set to team with Kane to face DX at the Crown Jewel event on November 2 in Saudi Arabia - in what would be Shawn Michaels' first match in over eight years since Taker retired him at WrestleMania 26.

But the event has been placed into jeopardy due to recent current affairs in the Kingdom, which could mean a postponement or cancellation of the pay-per-view, although WWE's only words at this point have been to say that they are 'monitoring the situation'.

You can almost guarantee that Taker would get a mammoth payday from appearing in the Middle East, as he was one of the specific names the Crown Prince wanted for the original event.

And even if that doesn't happen now, Taker's plans for 2019 have been all-but-confirmed.

Ringside News are reporting that Undertaker has confirmed to the company that he will work WrestleMania for a 19th straight year.

However a singles match with Michaels that was rumoured to take place just two weeks after Crown Jewel at Survivor Series might be put on-hold, as the same source has told Ringside News that he hasn't agreed to appear at the Los Angeles event yet.

It could mean that the expected bout between the two happens at the Royal Rumble in January, or yet again at the 'Grandest Stage Of Them All' for a third - and maybe final time.
