Dean Ambrose teases Shield departure during an interview after WWE Raw

GiveMeSport | Updated: 2018-10-09 17:30:21

At the end of this week's Monday Night Raw, questions were once again asked about the current relationship between Dean Ambrose and the rest of The Shield.

In the main event of last night's Raw, The Shield lost a six-man tag team match against Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.

After the match, Ambrose walked out on Rollins and Reigns, leaving his Hounds of Justice brothers in the middle of the ring as he walked to the back on his own to end the show.

The Lunatic Fringe teased departing The Shield once more, breaking the stable again for the second time in WWE history after Rollins' famous heel turn on the group back in 2014.

During a backstage interview after Raw had finished, Ambrose revealed how he was feeling following the loss alongside his Hounds of Justice brothers in the main event of the show.

He said: "I don't get it, I don't get it. Maybe I just don't fit in anywhere, anymore."

WWE has been teasing Ambrose leaving The Shield now for a couple of weeks, but it looks like this storyline will start to gather some momentum over the next month as we approach Crown Jewel.

WWE also released footage of how Rollins and Reigns reacted to Ambrose's walkout after Raw went off the air, showing them visibly confused after what just happened as they made their way up the ramp.

Frustration is definitely mounting within The Hounds of Justice, and it looks as though it will be The Lunatic Fringe that cracks first, something which many WWE fans have expected since his return before SummerSlam earlier this year.

Fingers crossed WWE creative is able to execute this storyline well and not waste it, whether it be through Ambrose turning heel on his brothers, or finding a way to keep The Shield together and overcome the adversity they're currently going through.

We'll have to wait and see, but it definitely looks like now a huge angle for The Hounds of Justice is going to go down between now and WWE's Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia on November 2.
