A Hall of Famer made a massive return to Raw to set up a WWE Evolution match

We are less than three weeks away from WWE's next pay-per-view - and it's a history-making occasion.

The Nassau Coliseum in New York will host the first-ever all-women's special event in the company's history in the form of WWE Evolution, and the card for the match is slowly but surely starting to take shape.

As the October 28 date looms closer, the card needs more, but there's so much potential already to be a brilliant show.

Just last night on Monday Night Raw, a huge bout for the red brand's Women's Championship was made - Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Nikki Bella, who along with her sister Brie turned heel on the former UFC star.

And the SmackDown title is set to be another match between current champion Becky Lynch and her former best friend Charlotte Flair, who could be engaged in the best rivalry in the whole company right now.

The final of the second-ever Mae Young Classic will also be decided, and a rematch of the first MYC final will occur as Kairi Sane will defend her NXT Women's title against Shayna Baszler - who went viral this weekend for her Conor McGregor-related tweet.

Another singles match announced weeks ago was the seven-time champion Trish Stratus coming up against Alexa Bliss, which would be the Canadian's first one-on-one bout in over 12 years.

Stratus appeared in the first women's Royal Rumble in January, and the reaction she got was just a teaser of what's potentially to come at the end of the month.

But for no particular reason, WWE have decided to change the match, and it was done as Bliss and Stratus' former foe - Mickie James - interrupted her promo on Raw last night.

And the woman to back Stratus up was a long-time friend and rival - Lita.

The extreme Diva showed the WWE Universe what she could do at the Rumble when she hit her trademark Moonsault at the age of 42, and the duo got the upper hand on Bliss and James, who will now face Lita and Stratus in a two-on-two match.

But the live crowd in Chicago didn't get to see the Lita-sault, even though it was teased, we're sure though that someone will be getting hit with it in less than three weeks at Evolution.
