WWE are being very secretive on the current status of Sasha Banks [WON]

When Sasha Banks was removed from the Mixed Match Challenge last week, there was a lot of speculation regarding the reason why she was pulled.

Banks was due to partner Bobby Lashley on the exclusive Facebook series, but it was announced that Mickie James would instead take her place.

There does seem to be an injury crisis hitting the Women's roster on WWE at the moment. Alexa Bliss herself had to pull out of the competition due to a legitimate arm injury.

And just this past week on Raw, Riott Squad member Liv Morgan suffered a concussion at the hands of Brie Bella's kicks, and will probably be out of action for a few weeks, putting the six-woman tag match with the Bella Twins and Ronda Rousey at Super Show-Down at risk.

Whilst Bliss has been cleared for 'minimal contact' according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the status of Banks is far more confusing.

There's been no official statement from the WWE, let alone any reports from journalists in regards to a diagnosis.

According to the Observer Newsletter, per Ringside News, the word backstage within the company on Banks' absence is being kept on the down-low.

Usually the WWE are very forthcoming with their injury news to fans, so it's very suspicious that they're choosing not to disclose what's actually up with The Boss.

Furthermore, the Observer stated that a source from within the company simply described the issue as 'health-related'.

That could either be very worrying, or it could be nothing at all, we simply don't know the real issue at hand.

One thing is for sure, on her day Banks is one of the top hard-hitting superstars - male or female - on the roster, but her and Bayley have fallen by the wayside as of late when they arguably should be going at it in a huge feud.

If she's out for the foreseeable future, it would be horrendous timing with WWE Evolution coming up - but we can only hope Banks returns as soon as possible.
