Watch: Seahawks punter Michael Dickson did something we've never seen before against Chicago

Week two of the NFL season threw up a fair few surprises.

On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars impressively beat the New England Patriots 31-20, with quarterback Blake Bortles throwing four touchdowns.

Elsewhere, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulled off a shock win against reigning Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles.

In that game, all four Bucs TDs came from QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, who seems to have re-invented himself in Tampa this season.

Those are just a couple of the big results from week two - there were plenty more.

Of course, not every team played at the weekend and on Monday night, the Seattle Seahawks visited the Chicago Bears to round off the game week.

That result also caught the eye, because it was Chicago that picked up the win, besting Seattle 24-17.

Mitch Trubisky threw two touchdowns, while Prince Amukamara arguably made the play of the game when he picked off Russell Wilson and took it to the house.

The cornerback perfectly read Wilson's attempt to find Rashaad Penny - and he swooped in ahead of the running back, caught the ball and ran back 49-yards for six points.

It was a very impressive play, but incredibly, there was a different play that caught the attention of NFL fans - and it came from Seattle kicker Michael Dickson.

Following Wilson's TD pass to Tyler Lockett that made things 17-10 to the Bears, Dickson wasted absolutely no time restarting the play.

But rather than kicking off from the ground - like everyone else does in the NFL - he decided to get it going with a dropkick.

Check out the madness below.

Epic. Dickson appears to be going back to his Aussie roots with a play like that. This is the sort of thing we normally see in Australian rules football or rugby - not the NFL!

The rookie punter has already made quite an impression in Seattle. He sent veteran kicker Jon Ryan packing shortly after arriving as a fifth-round draft pick - and many are calling him the league's best already.

In fact, his latest stunt really got NFL fans talking - and some appear to have lost their minds!

Sadly though, Dickson's impressive play couldn't keep the Seahawks from falling to another loss.

Now with a record of 0-2 in 2018, HC Pete Carroll has some serious work to do, as he looks to turn the Hawks back into the force they were just a few years ago.
