50 Cent has now reacted after hearing Mayweather vs Nasukawa isn't actually happening

Floyd Mayweather was rumoured to be making a remarkable return to action in Japan on New Year’s Eve in order to take on kickboxer and mixed martial artist Tenshin Nasukawa.

However, that is seemingly no longer the case after 'Money' posted on Instagram saying it simply wasn't true.

Mayweather is widely regarded as the greatest boxer of his generation, but seemingly retired after taking his perfect professional record to 50-0 by defeating UFC star Conor McGregor in August last year.

Talk of a comeback has been steadily building in recent months, with the American heavily linked with fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov from the UFC - after his impressive with over McGregor at UFC 229.

The Russian fighter skyrocketed himself into the public eye with his actions post-fight - jumping the cage and attacking members of McGregor's team.

Following the fight, the UFC champ was quick to call out Mayweather, saying he wanted to do something that McGregor couldn't.

However, in recent weeks, that talk has seriously died down, despite Dana White claiming he's had meetings with the undefeated boxer.

After the Khabib rumours died down, it then emerged that Mayweather could come out of retirement to fight Nasukawa, but that speculation has not lasted long whatsoever.

'Money' has claimed the rumours are totally false and even went as far as saying he had never even heard of the combat fighter up until his recent visit to Japan.

One man who is very vocal about Mayweather, and has been a lot recently, is 50 Cent, and unsurprisingly, he has now reacted to his long-term rival withdrawing from the proposed fight.

However, it seems that he's since decided to delete his Instagram post about the fight not actually happening, but that was after Twitter users could take screenshots and post them online.

You can see what he's said in the below tweets.

Certainly a feud that doesn't look like ending any time soon.
