Tyson Fury is widely known as a joker, but there is no doubt that he is taking his upcoming mega fight with Deontay Wilder seriously.

Fury is currently undertaking a grueling training camp in the Californian mountains with trainer Ben Davison at the gym of well known Mexican coach Abel Sanchez.

And with just over six weeks to go that Fury has been joined in the camp by fellow heavyweights Joe Joyce along with young Italian Guido Vianello.

Joyce who will sparring with Fury during the camp, won the 2016 Olympic silver medal in the super heavyweight division has made a fine start to his professional career.

The 33-year-old has won all six of his professional fights by knockout which has included three in the opening round.

He has signed on to be promoted by David Haye's Ringstar team and is set to be advised by Al Harmon.

Due to teaming up with the influential Harmon, it is widely thought that Joyce has a strong chance of claiming a spot on the undercard of the Fury and Wilder fight.

Vianello fought in the same weight division as Joyce at the 2016 Olympics but was defeated at the round of 16 stage.

It is thought the 24-year-old will make his professional debut on the undercard of Vasyl Lomachenko's fight with Jose Pedraza on December 8.

Meanwhile, Wilder has made some headlines after it was claimed he broke the jaw of a mascot on the set of Spanish language sports show Nacion.

After being asked to throw a punch by the presenters, Wilder did so and held nothing back.

The unbeaten world champion has since put out a sincere apology for any damage caused and has offered him tickets for the fight against Fury.

This incident is further evidence that there is never a dull moment in the world of heavyweight boxing.
