BT Sport post footage of off-air clash between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder

Footage has been released of Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder having a war of words off-air, following an interview the pair did with John Rawling.

The video was published on the Boxing on BT Sport official Twitter page, and showed the two heavyweights throwing insults at each other whilst members of the BT production staff tried to separate the two.

Fury and Wilder were speaking with Rawling ahead of their bout in Los Angeles in December, but clearly they weren’t done taking jabs at each other, even after the roundtable interview had ended.

‘This is what happened when the cameras went off-air and @JohnRawling called time on the #WilderFury roundtable,’ is what the caption read and the video provided a few interesting moments.

“When I look at you I see a dosser, a weak man, a s***house,” Fury barked. The Gypsy King went on to make the point that he has more boxing experience than his upcoming opponent.

“You’re a skinny little man, a basketball player. You came into boxing at 21-years-old, I’ve been doing this for all my life. I beat men like you seven days a week.”

Wilder was in no mood to accept this verbal mockery and consistently repeated phrases such as “I’ve got the heart of lion,” and “I am a king,” whilst beating his chest.

Despite most of his insults being aimed in the direction of the Bronze Bomber, Fury couldn’t resist having a poke at British star Anthony Joshua too, after a supposed clash between AJ and Wilder fell through earlier this year.

“Listen you came here, the Brits were afraid of you. The other s***house didn’t want to fight you,” Fury stated. “I’m knocking you spark out.”

Following this a member of the production staff attempted to end this confrontation, but had little joy.

The pair were involved in a memorable moment following Wilder’s knockout of Artur Szpilka in New York in 2016, as Fury jumped into the ring to confront Wilder, something which Fury brought up.

“Tyson Fury is coming to America. And a king like me, where does he go to find a wife? Queens, baby. And I already went to Brooklyn to kick your a** once.”

The exchange of words ended with both fighters agreeing that they couldn’t wait to get into the ring, which has intensified the excitement and expectation around this fight to a higher level than it already was.

All eyes will firmly be on Los Angeles on December 1, as these two stars of the heavyweight category finally get their gloves on.
